Thalapathy 64 is the working title for an upcoming Indian Tamil-language action thriller film,written and directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj and produced by Xavier Britto under the banner of XB Film Creators, the company's first production. The film stars Vijay, Vijay Sethupathi, Antony Varghese, Shanthanu Bhagyaraj, and Malavika Mohanan in supporting roles, marking Varghese's debut in Tamil cinema. The film's music is composed by Anirudh Ravichander, while cinematography and editing are performed by Sathyan Sooryan and Philomin Raj respectively. The film is scheduled to be released in April 2020.
The songs and score for the movie will be composed by Anirudh Ravichander and released by Sony Music India.

On 24 August 2019, director Lokesh Kanagaraj tweeted that he would be working with Vijay in a film produced by Xavier Britto. Along with the news, he revealed a good majority of the crew including Anirudh Ravichander as the music director
